Early Years

Callum Norris got his first guitar at the age of 14 and soon progressed to playing in local bands a few years later, performing at popular local venues such as The Atlantic Bar, Portrush.

As Callum’s musical taste evolved, he developed a passion for older, heavier styles of music and soon joined Black Sabbath tribute act “Sabbath The Ozzy Years“. Working alongside experienced musicians Colin Clarke (vocalist – of Sinner / The Usual Suspects), Geoff Bowen (drummer – of Sinner / The Usual Suspects), and Ronnie Sands (bassist – The Usual Suspects / Aftershock). Over two years with the band, Callum gained a wealth of experience on the guitar by assimilating the powerful riffs and intricate guitar solos of Tony Iommi into his playing.

Tragically, during this period, bassist and close friend Ronnie Sands passed away. This loss led to a hiatus for the band, prompting Callum to reflect on his musical journey. Seeking new creative outlets, he joined North Coast rock band “Deadly Sons,”. Through this, he has continued to bring exciting shows wherever he goes alongside members Harrison Reed (guitar/vocals), Aaron Neill (bass) and Scott Hunter (drums).
